Used Bicycle Buyer Appoints New Marketing Director

Used Bicycle Buyer, a nation-wide used bike buying service for IBDs, has appointed Michael Cousino as Director of Marketing. In this newly created position, Cousino will assemble a National Sales Rep Force to build a limited network of independent bike dealers who will benefit from protected markets. President and founder Seth Schmidt, says, "We are pleased to have Mike join us. He brings a decade of experience serving specialty retailers in the Great Lakes region as an independent rep and has a strong vision for the growth of Used Bicycle Buyer."
After returning from Interbike this past Fall where Used Bicycle Buyer exhibited for the first time, the company took dealer feedback and created a turnkey trade-in program for the retail trade. "The response we received at Interbike from the IBDs was phenomenal," says Schmidt. "They kept telling us the same thing; that the industry has needed someone to step forward and provide a used bicycle buying service on a nationwide level for a long time."
