Bike Art Spectacular Set for Saturday, November 7th;<br>
Bike Art Catalog Now Available at www.kimsbikes.org

Bicycle-inspired art comes in all forms: original paintings, sculptures, prints, photographs, jewelry, even skateboard decks. And at the 2009 Bike Art Spectacular on November 7th in San Diego bicycle art will be featured and for sale, with prices from $5 to over $5,000. Plus, all monies raised benefits Kimberlee's Bikes for Kids, a 501c3 non-profit foundation that distributes free bicycles, helmets and locks to underprivileged 1st - 3rd graders.

"Artists from the U.S., Australia, Israel, Great Britain and Canada have donated art to the Bike Art Spectacular," says Dan Gindling, President of Kimberlee's Bikes for Kids and husband of Kimberlee Caledonia, for whom the foundation honors. "We literally have art for every taste and in all price points. Plus, we'll have a silent auction of non-bicycle items. It's never too early to start thinking about holiday shopping, and bicycle art may be the perfect gift."

The 2009 Bike Art Spectacular will take place this Saturday, November 7th from 6-9 pm at the Visions Quilt Art Gallery, 2825 Dewey Rd., Suite 100, San Diego, Calif. 92106. Each piece of bicycle art will have a "buy it now" price. Pay the price and walk away with great art. The event will also feature complimentary wine, beer, soft drinks and appetizers along with door prizes and a few surprises including a special gift compliments of Speedplay, Inc. to the first 100 guests.

A $25 donation will be accepted at the door or donate $100 and get a free Kimberlee's Bikes for Kids cycling jersey along with free admission to the Bike Art Spectacular.

"We've been working long and hard on the event," says Gindling. "I think people are going to have a great time."
