NBDA SUPER SEMINAR UPDATE!

Las Vegas Sessions Start Day Before Interbike Expo
There's even more to do when you arrive to Las Vegas before the main expo at Interbike '08. NBDA presents new sessions from Tom Shay's Profits + Plus for small business kicking off the Super Seminars in the afternoon of September 23, Day 2 of Interbike's OutDoor Demo. Now after you finish test riding the hottest new products at the Demo, hop off the shuttle and grab a seat at these popular retail presentations. With over 25 years of frontline experience in management and ownership of small businesses, Tom Shay shares and teaches from experience--not from theory!

Two Days of NBDA Education at OutDoor Demo East In Rhode Island
East Coast dealers will get even greater attention from the NBDA this year with two full days of Super Seminars scheduled for October 21 - 22 in conjunction with Interbike's East Coast Demo. "We've had great feedback on our Super Seminars around the country and attendance has exceeded expectations," said Fred Clements, executive director of the National Bicycle Dealers Association. "By partnering with Interbike at Outdoor Demo East, we feel we'll be able to offer high quality sessions in a convenient setting that will allow us to reach an even larger audience in a region that deserves the support."

New Locations to Host Regional Seminars, Continuing into March 2009

Dealers can expect one-day regional Super Seminars to continue into March 2009 with the announcement of four new venues: Tampa, FL, Austin, TX, Los Angeles, CA and Phoenix, AZ. And remember, NBDA members attend for free. Look for more updates on speakers and final dates coming soon at nbda.com.

DEALERS: GET READY TO VOTE FOR NBDA BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The opportunity to elect your representative dealer Board of Directors is coming soon. Ballots are to be mailed to all dealer members by end of this month. Elected dealers will serve two-year volunteer terms, expiring in September 2010. Be sure to keep an eye out for your official ballot. Dealers, take this opportunity to vote on each candidate. For most suppliers, the Specialty Bicycle Retailer is the number one or one and only channel of distribution for their products.
