Casagrande Press is seeking articles and stories for its forthcoming book Cycling's Greatest Misadventures.
Casagrande Press is looking for quality nonfiction stories about cycling mishaps, disasters, comical pranks, crashes, bad judgment calls, misfortune, contest meltdowns, strange injuries, loss of wit, critical conditions, absurd happenings, animal encounters, bike trips gone wrong or "non-riding episodes" that surround the cycling experience. The editors seek well-written stories that tell a good tale, reflect a culture, and develop the depth of the characters involved. Open to writers and riders of any level.
Payment The press is paying $100 and free contributor copies to writers of the stories that we publish.
Deadline The deadline for submission is Dec. 1st, 2006.
How to Submit Send stories to both: Casagrandepress @ aol.com and schweikh @ yahoo.com. Make sure your story has your name, address, email and phone number on the title page, and that the pages are numbered. There is no cost to submit your story.
About the book Cycling's Greatest Misadventures will be released in May of 2007, distributed nationally and highly publicized. This book is the second in the "Misadventure" series by Casagrande Press. The first book in the series "Surfing's Greatest Misadventures" spent 4 weeks on the LA Times best seller list.
